ONGOING EVENTS/ INFORMATION

The Turtle and Tortoise Rescue of Arroyo Grande offers tours that are open to individuals, school classes, community groups, and more and are by appointment only. The majority of their tours take place on Saturdays from 10am-2pm at this time. Contact them HERE to set up a tour and meet the wide variety of happy critters!

 

Rancho Burro Donkey Sanctuary is offering a donkey sponsorship program! you can choose a donkey to help with your monthly donation. Check it out HERE

 

RBDS is also looking for volunteers!  I have volunteered with them over the last couple of years and it is one of the best experiences.   It is so calming to be around all of those beautiful donkeys.  Learn more and contact them HERE.

 

Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary has some livestreams and videos posted HERE so you can learn about their animals in between events.

They are also looking for Volunteers.  This is from their website: 

We are looking for reliable volunteers who can commit to a few morning hours a week. Help us clean the barns and pastures, refill water buckets, clean the duck pools, and tend to our organic vegetable garden. It's also the best way to get to know the animals! To volunteer we request a 3 month minimum commitment. You must be 16 or older and minors must have a parent or guardian with them.  Send us an email: greenerpasturessanctuary@gmail.com

 

Loving Farm Animal Sanctuary is starting up group tours again!  Keep a lookout for when they announce them as they sell out really fast.  They also offer PRIVATE TOURS of six people or less for a minimum donation of $250.00. If you are interested in a private tour, please email info@lovingfarm.org.

Redwings Horse Rescue and Sanctuary is open for tours by appointment only right now.  Find more information HERE.

  

November Events

Redwings is hosting a Tack Sale on November 19, 2022 from 8am-1 pm at the Sanctuary. All proceeds goto the care of their rescued animals.  More information HERE
